To the abbot and convent of Thorneton. Request to take again their letters patent to Richard Sampson of Hertford concerning a maintenance which he had for life in that house at the late king's command, to ascertain the said Richard's assent, and to admit to their house Thomas Grenoke servant of the earl of Derby, whom the king is sending to them, and minister to him such maintenance, making him other letters under their common seal with mention of what he shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as at the earl's request it is the king's will to make provision for the said Thomas. Grant of the reversion after the death of Thomas Fulham of Plomstede of a messuage, 100 acres of land, 4 acres of meadow and 4 acres of wood in Plomstede, which by fine levied in the king's court in the octaves of Michaelmas 10 Richard IL John Seymour eranted for life to the said Thomas and to Alice his wife, now deceased, with remainder to John Canteys.
