Grant, for his devotion to the church of Bangor founded by the king and his forefathers, and for benefits received, that a mass of the Virgin Mary shall be celebrated there for ever, with the prayer Quesumus omnipotens deus ut famulus tuus Rex noster Ricardus qui in tua miseracione suscepit regni gubernacula etc., for the king's welfare during his life, and after his death for his soul and the souls of his forefathers and of the faithful departed, with the prayer Inclina domine aurem tuam ete. Dated Bangor, the feast of St. James the Apostle 1386.
