Memorandum of acknowledgment of the foregoing charter and writing in chancery at Westminster, 4 December. John de Akom parson of Petworth and John de Mitford to Henry de Percy earl of Northumberland and Maud his wife, and to the said earl's heirs. Charter of the manor of Petworth ete. (as above), whereof the earl lately made them a charter of feoffment. Witnesses : Edmund fitz Herberd, William Percy, Edward Seint Johan knights, Robert de Loxley, John Pedeferre. Dated Petworth, 2 November 7 Richard II. John de Akom and John de Mitford to Richard del Strode.
