To the sheriff of Dorset. Order, upon the petition of Thomas Creue parson of Fallegh, to stay the exigents against him and the taking of his body by mainprise of Andrew de Stretford, Peter le Clere of Iwerne, John Aynell and John de Pershute of Wiltesir, bringing this writ before the justices of the Bench on the day the writ of exigents is returnable ; as George de Caneford is impleading the said Thomas before the said justices for a debt of 10/., and the said Thomas is without his knowledge put in exigents to be outlawed in the said county for that he came not to answer before the said justices, wherefore he has prayed for a stay until the aforesaid day, as he is ready to stand to right in all things touching the premises; and the said Andrew, Peter, John and John, appearing in person in chancery, have mainperned under a pain of 20/. to have his body before the said justices on that day.
