To Edmund Sauvage escheator in Notynghamshire. Order to to Robert Tybetot the manor and advowson of Langar, messuages and 21 bovates 6 acres of land therein excepted, taken the king's hand by the death of John Tybetot, together with the taken of the said manor with the exception aforesaid, but not meddle further with the manor and advowson of Epriston likewise taken, delivering up any issues thereof taken; as the king has by inquisition, taken by the escheator, that the said John his death held no lands in that county in chief in his demesne as fee, but held for life the manor and advowson of Langar (except as of the gift of John de Sandale parson of Arkeshay and de Kyneton parson of Radclyf, and the manor and advowson Epriston of the gift of William Deyncourt sometime lord of and Thomas de Hameldene parson of Potterhaynworth, reversion to the said Robert and to his heirs begotten of Margaret of the said William, and that the manor and advowson of (with the exceptions aforesaid) are held of the king as of honour of Peverell, which is in his hand, by the service of one fee and a half and of 10s. yearly payable, and the manor advowson of Epriston of another than the king; and the king has the homage and fealty of the said Robert.
