Recogfor 601., to be levied etc. in Wiltes. of Roger de Holte, son and heir of John de Holte, granting warranty to William de Worfton and Isabel his wife and to heirs of the said William the remainder of a rent of 8 marks, the fealty and other services which Gilbert de la Roche holds life, by a grant to him and Margaret his wife and to the heirs of bodies made by the said John with remainder to the grantor his heirs, which service the said Gilbert now takes of Adam Blake, and heir of John Blake, tenant of a messuage, a water mill and one carucate of land in Ludyngton by virtue of an entail thereof to the said John Blake and the heirs of his body by gift of the John de Holte, to hold of the grantor and his heirs by the aforesaid with reversion to the grantor and his heirs, and services if the said Gilbert should die without an heir of his would revert to the said Roger, the said Margaret being dead issue by the said Gilbert, and the said tenements likeif the said John should die without. an heir of his body.
