Dated London, 31 July 34 Edward III. of William de Monte Acuto earl of Salisbury and lord of the of Mann, being a quitclaim to Richard de Chaddesleye his clerk the manor of Malberthorp co. Lincoln with the hamlets, knights wreck of the sea, wards, marriages etc. thereto pertaining. Dated 24 August 34 Edward III. of William de Mountagu earl of Salesbury and lord of Man, a quitclaim to Richard de Chaddeslee and his heirs of all right, and demand in the manor of Malberthorp co. Lincoln and all thereof. Dated London, 7 December 39 Edward III. of acknowledgment of the foregoing charter and writings the said earl's lodging in the parish of St. Benet by Pauleswherf 8 December this year, before William de Burstall clerk, by of a writ of dedimus potestatem which is on the files in chancery this year. of William de Say knight, giving with warranty to Robert Beleknappe and Amy his wife, the heirs and assigns of the said his manor of Sharstede and all his lands, woods, pastures, warrens, liberties, rents and services etc. in the towns and of Chetham and Gillyngham co. Kent. Dated London, December 39 Edward III. Witnesses: Sir John de Cobeham of Cobeham, Adam Fraunceys, Geoffrey Colpeper, Thomas Colpeper, de Wanetench, James de Pekham, Nicholas Heryng, William of William de Say knight, being a quitclaim with warranty Robert de Beleknappe and Amy, his wife, the heirs and assigns the said Robert, of the manor of Sharstede and all lands, woods, farms, warrens, liberties, rents and services in the towns parishes of Chetham and Gillyngham co. Kent which they have the said William's gift; and further grant and bond that William his heirs will acquit and save them harmless towards the king all debts and accounts, and towards any other of all charges, debts recognisances made by the said William or by any other tenant the premises before this date. Dated London, 20 December Edward III. of acknowledgment of the foregoing charter and in the chancery at London, 22 December.
