Order to pay from time to time as csqaae to Almaricus de Sancto Amando, justiciary of Ireland, wages for forty men at arms and a hundred archers, whom he is bound to retain in the king's service for the defence of that land, over and above the men at arms to be retained for the . office of justiciary, according to agreements made between the king and him expressed in a certain indenture, from the time of his landing in Ireland, so long as he keeps them in that service, in accordance with the indenture. 14.
