Moigne of Rayele acknowledges that he owes to Richard fitz 100/.; to be levied etc. in the county of Huntingdon. of indenture testifying that whereas William Moigne of is bound to Richard fitz Wyth in 100/. by the preceding recogto be paid at Easter and Michaelmas following, Richard grants William, before Easter next, cause Henry Chartres, parson of Wolle to come before the next justices of assize at Huntyngdon or elsewhere the lawful men of the county of Huntingdon, to witness a release he has made to William, Richard and Elizabeth and to William's of all his right and claim in the manor of Wolle, or cause him to a new release in the presence of the said men in the same form, or six lawful men of the said county to approach Henry and by their seals on the release to witness the same to be Henry's deed and shown to the council, and if William pay for Richard the fine to the Clare, who is the chief lady of the manor of Wolle as of the fee of because of such grant of the reversion of that manor made by John Chartres, if it happen that no such fine is asked by lady, and if the heir of John Chartres implead Richard and for the manor or for parcel thereof, William grants that he will the heir against Richard and Elizabeth, then Richard grants recognisance shall be null. Dated at Westminster on I riday after 27 Edward III. I rench. that both Richard and William came into chancery at on 9 February and acknowledged the preceding indenture.
