de Shareshull, knight, acknowledges that he owes to Maurice earl of Dessemond, 20/.; to be levied, in default of payment, lands and chattels in the county of Oxford. of deed testifying that whereas the king has granted to John the custody of all the lands which belonged to Adam de Yeddyng, by knight's service of the archbishop of Canterbury, void and in hand, and which were in his hand by reason of the minority of daughters and heirs, to hold until the heirs should come of age with their marriage, and he also granted that if any of the heirs die before she came of age, while her heir should be under age at the when the temporalities of the archbishopric are in the king's hand, John should have the custody of the portion of the lands touching until he should come of age, together with his marriage, without anything to the king therefor, and so from heir to heir, until each should be of age, John has granted to Simon Fraunceis, citizen and of London, the custody of all the lands which belonged to Adam with the custody of Alice, Adam's daughter and one of his heirs, together with her marriage as John holds the same of the king's Dated at London, 18 April, 26 Edward III.
