To the warden of the Flete prison. Order to release Geoffrey le Clerk, attorney of John Waleys, sheriff of Nottingham, from that prison where he is detained for the arrears of the account of that sheriff, by the mainprise of William del Ker, Robert Martell, John de Bekyrton and Roger de Thurgerton of the county of Nottingham who have undertaken to have him at the exchequer on the morrow of the close of Easter next to answer for the said arrears to the king in the name of himself and of the said sheriff. By C. on the information of the treasurer. John Mautravers, knight, puts in his place William de Burstall and John de Codyngton the younger to prosecute the execution of a recognisance for 214 marks 6s. 4/. made to him in chancery by Thomas Roscelyn.
