de Langeton, knight, acknowledges that he owes to William atte 100s. ; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels county of Leicester. of deed testifying that whereas John de Langeton, knight, is by a recognisance to William atte Water in 100s. to be paid to him in the 26th year of the reign, William grants that if he in peace the lands which formerly belonged to John Convers in Chelcheethe, Kensyngton and Eye without being ousted by Richard de Playford and Amice his wife, by action tried in king's court and judgment rendered, then the recognisance shall be Dated at London on Sunday after the Ascension, 25 Edward III. that William came into chancery at London on 29 May acknowledged the preceding indenture.
