de Bredon acknowledges that he owes to John de Bukyngham, 200/.; to be levied etc. in the county of Leicester. on payment. of release by Edmund de Pencrych, chaplain, and Robert de to Alice late the wife of John de Gysors, citizen of London, and the male of the bodies of John and Alice of all their right and claim in meadows and pastures with their appurtenances lying in the towns fields of Great Dunmowe, co. Essex, Asshewell and Hyngsteworth, Hertford, Stebenheth, Schordych, Hakeneye, Edelmeton and Le Popler, Middlesex, which lands they had of the gift and enfeoffment of John de as is contained in a charter of enfeoffment made to them thereupon. Sir Walter Bygot, knight, Thomas de Clopton, Stephen de John Olyve, John Arnald. Dated 3 May, 25 Edward III. that Edmund and Robert came into chancery at London on May and acknowledged the preceding deed.
