Whereas, on its being found by inquisition taken Gower, then escheator in that liberty, that 2 bovates of land, of meadow and 45 acres of pasture in Ulram which Robert son Tothe of Killum held, who was outlawed for felony, had been in hand for a year and a day, that Robert held them of Margery late of William de Ros of Hamelak, and that Denise late the wife of son of Robert Tothe and George Salvayn, knight, had the year, day thereof and ought to answer therefor to the king, he ordered that to deliver seisin of the premises to Margery, and although she was by the escheator by virtue of that order, yet the justices have those tenements to be taken into the king's hand without due process Margery, because it was presented before them that the tenements in chief as of the honour of Albemarle, whereupon Margery has the king to provide a remedy by her petition before him and his in the last parliament: the king therefore orders the justices, if to cause the king's hand to be amoved without delay from those restoring the issues thereof to Margery, certifying the king in of all the process held thereupon, so that he may cause right to after inspecting the same.
