Order not to intermeddle with a rent of 26s. 8d. in Kildale, restoring the issues thereof to de Boulton and Alice his wife, as the king ordered the escheator to why he had taken that rent into the king's hand, and the escheator that it is in the king's hand by the death of Katherine late the of John de Menyl, who held it jointly with John for themselves and heirs of their bodies of the inheritance of John's heir, then a minor in king's wardship, and the rent is held of John de Percy of Kildale by service, and the heir died when a minor in the king's wardship, that Alice, his sister, whom Robert has married, is his next heir and full age, and on 14 February last the king took Robert's fealty for all lands which came into the king's hands by reason of the minority of heir of John de Menyl and were held in chief, and ordered them to be to Robert and Alice.
