Order not to further with the manor of Assheby David and certain other in that bailiwick taken by reason of the death of John son and heir Peverel and of Alice late the wife of Thomas de Verdon, as king has learned by inquisition taken by the escheator that John, who a minor in the king's wardship, alienated in fee the said manor and were taken into the king's hand by reason of Alice's death, held them for life of his inheritance, because the manor is held of the of Laurence de Hastynges, earl of Pembroke, tenant in chief, a minor the king's wardship, by knight's service to John de JInsula of (de Itubeo Monte), Hugh de Bray and William de la Dale, who the manor by virtue of that alienation upon the king's seisin, and 10/. which John de Insula has paid, the king has pardoned them their in so entering upon his seisin. the king pardoned John the 101, and therefore the writ is not sent king in the extracts to the exchequer.
