Charteneye, citizen of London, acknowledges that he owes to de Tillebery 1000. ; to be levied ete. in the city of London. on payment. de Wolverton acknowledges that he owes to John de Chastiloun, of Northfeld church, 80 marks; to be levied etc. in co. of general release by Thomas de Haselshawe, brother of Thomas de Haselshawe, rector of Chiw church, to Ralph bishop of Wells; saving his action for his lands and the goods and chattels belonged to him in the manor of Cherde in the 15th year of the which he claims against the said bishop and his ministers. Dated on 12 February, 20 Edward III. that Thomas came into chancery at Westminster on and acknowledged the preceding deed. of deed testifying that whereas Thomas de Haselshawe of Master Thomas de Haselshawe, rector of Chiw church, before the justices of the Bench Masters John de Middelton and Trippe, late commissary of the bishop of Bath and Wells, because sued a plea in the Court Christian against the king's prohibition of 500/. as fully appears in the record and process held there- Thomas has released John and Stephen of all actions by reason of taken thereupon and of the said 5007. Dated at Lambhith February, 20 Edward III. that Thomas came into chancery at Westminster on 15 and acknowledged the preceding deed.
