To John de Wyndesore, escheator in co. Warwick. Order to take a simple seisin within the gates of the priory of Kennilleworth, in the name of the king's royal lordship, the priory being now void by the death of 4 g me Thomas de Warmynton, and not to intermeddle further with the of the priory or its possessions, permitting the sub-prior and to hold the priory with all the things pertaining thereto, as the and convent haye sustained heavy expenses by the frequent visits of king and his father, and in consideration thereof the king granted to then the prior, and to the convent, that the sub-prior and convent have the custody of the priory in every voidance, rendering 2s. 8d., at which the temporalities were extended, for every yer, and rata for a shorter time, so long as the voidance should last, so that no or other minister should intermeddle with the custody of the or its possessions during a yoidance, except to take a simple seisin the form aforesaid.
