Edward de Monte Acuto, knight, acknowledges that he owes to Simon, of Ely, William son and heir of William de Monte Acuto, late earl Salisbury, Thomas prior of Bustlesham, John de Wynkefeld and John Mere, knights, Robert de Burton and James de Beauford, executors ofearl s will, 1,000 marks; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands chattels in co. Norfolk. Enrolment of grant by Adam de Martham of co. Norfolk, to Sir Hugh Neweton, parson of Dadyngton church, of two water mills under one called la Penmell, with all the profits and commodities pertaining in the town of Wycombe, which formerly belonged to William de also three cottages with the curtilages and all other appurin the said town, which formerly belonged to Sir John Houthrid, Witnesses: John le Clerk, then mayor of Wicombe, Thomas John de Brendele, John de Sandwell, John Matheu, John Ferrour Wicombe, John Talworth.
