Memorandum that after supper on Sunday, 8 December, William Trussel, the king's writ, delivered by Sir Robert de Sadyngton, the chancellor, the house of the bishop of Coventry and Lichfield at London, ten bags all rolls touching the sessions of Robert Parvyng and his late justices appointed to hear and determine divers felonies in cos. ( and Southampton, and all rolls touching the sessions of John de and Richard de Limboldeseye in co. Southampton, and all rolls the session of William and his fellows in the said counties, and chancellor received the bags, and kept them the night, and on Monday he delivered the rolls to Edjmund] de Grymesby, clerk, one of justices appointed to continue the sessions begun in those counties. Memorandwn that Henry Spigurnel of chancery on 8 December took on of the king and of Robert de Sadyngton the chancellor, to the house John de Stouford near Crepelgate London, a commission to him, Robert Thorp and John de Geynesford to continue the sessions begun in cos. and Wilts before divers justices, and John would not receive commission, saying he would not intermeddle therewith, and so Henry it with him and delivered it to the clerk of the hanaper in chancery.
