Order to cause de Monte Acuto, and Margaret his wife, daughter and heir of Thomas Monte Hermerii, tenant in chief, to have seisin of all the lands whereof was seised at his death in his demesne as of fee, as Margaret has her age before Walter de Horton, escheator in co. Devon, and the has taken John's fealty for all the lands which Thomas held in chief has rendered them to John and Margaret. like to John Mauduyt, escheator in co. Wilts. . Parr 2. 207 To Walter de Horton, escheator in co. Devon. Like order in favour of Margaret. To Margaret late the wife of Thomas de Monte Hermerii. Order not to intermeddle further with two parts of all the lands which belonged to Thomas at his death, which are in her custody by the king's commission, because the king has rendered the said lands to John de Monte Acuto and Margaret his wife, as aforesaid.
