Order to release without delay from the where they are detained three men of Spain, whom the sheriff and has long detained in Winchester castle because they were of king's enmity, as they have not wherewith to live unless they receive while they are so imprisoned. Hssex, Hertford and Middlesex. to deliver to John le Cok and Joan his wife, daughtér of Margaret atte a messuage, a mill, 102 acres of land, 14 acres of meadow, a marsh s. rent in Bradewell, but not to intermeddle further with the lands Margaret held of other lords than the king, restoring the issues thereof, the king has learned by inquisition taken by the escheator that Margaret her death held in her demesne as of fee the said messuage, mill, land, meadow, marsh and rent in chief by the service of rendering to the king by the hands of the bailiff of the hundred of Dansfeye], 12d. yearly at Michaelmas and also of rendering a lance in the war of Wales, and that she held lands of other lords by divers services, and that the said Joan is her next heir and of full age, and the king has taken John's fealty.
