To the sheriff of Kent. Order, upon pain of forfeiture, to cause proclamation to be made that no merchant or other shall take wool or woolfells to parts beyond the sea except from the ports of London, Southampton, Bristol, Great Yarmouth, Boston, Kyngeston upon Hull and Neweastle upon Tyne, upon pain of forfeiture of the wool and fells and of the other goods laded in other ports, in accordance with the ordinance made by the king with the advice of the council. The sheriff shall certify the king in chancery before the octaves of the Purification next of what he has done therein. By K. and C. and by p.s. he like to all the sheriffs of England 6.
