To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Order to cause as anit of 213/. 10s. 8d. as the portion of the extent of certain manors and lands : III. Parr 1. 77 to him by the late king from 4 February in the 13th year of the 5 May last, amounts to, to be subtracted and allowed to A. of Worcester, as on the latter day Laurence son and heir of John de tenant in chief, proved his age before Richard de Marton, in cos. Warwick, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Lancaster, as 4s. 6d. in which the king was bound to the bishop for his wags in going at divers times to parts beyond the sea, staying there as was found by account made with him at the exchequer, 213/. 10s. 8d. which the bishop should pay at the exchequer, the to him the custody of the manors of Intebergh, co. Worcester, Valence, co. Dorset and of Hamptonet and Wolbeldyng, co. which belonged to John de Hastynges, tenant in chief of the late were in the king's hand by reason of the minority of Laurence ; custody of the manor of Niweton, co. Southampton, and of certain Spene, co. Berks, which belonged to Aymer de Valencia earl of tenant in chief of the late king, at his death, and which were in the king's hand by reason of the purparty of Laurence, the and co-heir, all of which manors and lands are extended at 13d. yearly, to hold with all the issues thereof from Easter in the of the reign until Laurence should come of age, and afterwards said 4th February, the king of his special favour committed to the custody of all the lands in the realm which are of his inheritwhich were in the king's hand by reason of his minority and were to divers other men until he should come of age, except the lands Henry de Lancastr ia], earl of Derby holds of that ineritance by the commission, and the king ordered the bishop to deliver to Laurence lands which he held by the late king's commission of that inheritance the bishop has besought the king to cause such allowance to be him as he has delivered the said manors and lands to Laurence.
