Order to cause a tally to made for Henry de Percy of 200/. of the sums which he owes the king for the custody and ferm granted to him as if 200/. are found to be owing to him, as lately, in for the castle and pele of Loghmaban and Annandale (vadlis Anand ) and all the lands pertaining thereto, which he held by the grant de Balliolo, king of Scotland, to the value of 1,000 marks yearly which Henry rendered to the king with the assent of the late parliament the king granted to him the castle and constableship of the of Jeddeworth and the towns of Jeddeworth, Bondeiddeford and and the forest of Jeddeworth and all the lands pertaining to the value of 400 marks yearly, and with the consent of the . Parr 1. 15 prelates, earls, barons and others, the king granted him 500 marks yearly of the custom of Berwick-upon-T'weed to be received by the hands of the collectors there, and the custody of Berwick castle, receiving for that custody 100 marks yearly in time of peace, and 200/. in time of war, to hold until he should be provided with 500 marks of land or rent yearly, and now he has besought the king to order 200/. which are in arrear to him of the said fee, to be allowed to him in divers sums in which he is bound at the exchequer for the custody of two parts of the lands which belonged to Robert le Fitz Wauter and for the ferm of the manor of Corbrigg.
