John de Batesford. The king sends to him enclosed in the presents of credence to be expounded by word of mouth by him and de Kirkeby and John Randolf to the knights, men and communities cos. Southampton, Surrey and Sussex on the king's behalf, and he him to apply all diligence about the exposition and expedition of matters contained in the letters of credence.
