To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Whereas the king has granted to Roger le Bygod, earl of Norfolk and Marshal of England, 301. yearly from the ferm of the town of Norwich and of the hundreds of Depwade and Henstede, co. Norfolk, and of Blything and Waynesford, co. Suffolk, together with certain manors, lands, hundreds and rents, for life, as contained in the king's letters patent, and he has ordered the bailiffs and men of the town of Norwich to pay the said 301. from their ferm to the earl during his life, and the sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk to deliver the aforesaid hundreds to the earl: the king orders the treasurer and barons to discharge the bailiffs and men of Norwich of the said 30/. yearly and the sheriff of the issues of the said hundreds during the earl's life.
