John Wogan, justiciary of Ireland. Whereas John de Kent, who before Nicholas de Warrwik and Simon de Grenhill, justices to enquire concerning a robbery committed upon William de at Brightwell, co. Oxford, of the said robbery, and who was attached by the justiciary by virtue of the king's order to arrest if found in Ireland and who found the justiciary mainprise to stand in the king's court concerning the robbery, has rendered himself at Oxford, wherein he still is: the king orders the justiciary not the mainpernors by reason of the mainprise aforesaid, but to them to be acquitted in this matter.
