As the king wishes to have special and treaty with those skilled in law and with others of his concerning the right and dominion due to the king in the realm Scotland and that his ancestors, kings of England, had therein in past ; he orders Reginald to be with him at Lincoln in the octaves of St. Hilary next, to treat and to give his counsel concerning the premises with the king and others of his council.
