To the same. Prohibition, under pain of forfeiture of all that he holds the king, from promulgating any sentence of excommunication against king's ministers, clerk or lay, who are employed in taking into the hands corn and other goods of ecclesiastical and other persons of realm, which the king has been compelled to do for the defence of realm and inheritance and for the protection of the English Church the persons aforesaid, for which he promises to make suitable satisas the king understands that the archbishop intends to pronounce sentence against the kine s ministers thus engaged.
