To the sheriff of Stafford. Order to cause John le Mareschal of Stafford i to have seisin of a messuage and a moiety of a virgate of landin Pencrich, which William de la More, who was hanged for felony, held, as the king 22, KEDWARD I. 355 by inquisition taken by the sheriff that they have been in the king's for a year and a day, and that William held them of John, and that le Blund now holds them and had the king's year and day thereof, he ought to answer to the king.
