Whereas the present on 7 June, 46 Henry III, granted by charter under the seal then by him to Robert Waleraund the manor of Trivel, to him and the of his body, by the service of a quarter of a knight's fee for all service with provision that Robert's nephew (nepos) Alan Plukenet succeed him in the manor if he left no heirs of his body, to hold to and the heirs of his body by the service aforesaid ; and Alan has to the manor as Robert's heir and now holds it, and the and barons charge Alan with one mark yearly at the exchequer to the service aforesaid: the king orders them to cause Alan acquitted of the said mark yearly from the day of the making of aforesaid, and to permit him to hold the manor by the service in the charter.
