Order to cause Robert de Tibetot to have in the wood of that manor, which is within the bounds of the forest of Shirewode, twelve oaks fit for timber, of the king's gift. The justices of the Forest beyond Trent are ordered to cause the gift to be enrolled in their rolls and in the rolls of the foresters and verderers of the forest of Shirewode, and to permit Robert's men to carry the timber through the forest without hindrance. Robert de Barton and Robert de Morvill acknowledge that they owe to GM dé Langeton, clerk, 9 marks 6s. 8d.; to be levied, in default of payment, of their lands and chattels in co. Westmoreland.
