Essex, which Robert son of Walter lately granted and quit-claimed to the king, and which the king has granted to Robert and Eleanor, his wife, to have to them and the heirs of their bodies of the king and his heirs, from the day when the land and rent came to the king's hands until 11 March last, when the king granted the land and rent _ to Robert and Eleanor.
