To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Order to allow to the abbess and nuns of Shaftesbury 50 marks of the 100/. in. which they lately made fine with the king for having the custody of the temporalities of their house at the time of the last voidance, as the king granted 50 marks of the said fine to Queen Eleanor, his consort, and she is indebted to the abbess and nuns in that sum, which the abbess has released to the queen in recompense for the aforesaid 50 marks.
