To the sheriff of Suffolk. Order to deliver James de Ardene, imprisoned at Norwich for the death of Eva de Carleton, whereof he is appealed, in bail to twelve men who shall mainpern to have him before the justices at the first assize if any one wish to speak against him, as the king learns by inquisition taken by the sheriff that James slew Eva in a fit of madness (furia invectus) and not by felony or of malice aforethought.
