Order to commit to the aforesaid Isabella in name of the custody of certain lands in Torryng and Flechyng , according custom, as the king learns by inquisition taken by the sheriff that the Thomas at his death held them in socage, and that he held nothing the king in chief by reason whereof the custody of his lands or heirs may ought to pertain to the king. the sheriff of Kent, escheator in the same county. Like order concertain lands in Wodlond, Kemesing, and Audeham, the sheriff of Gloucester, escheator in the same county.
