Order to cause Humphrey de Bohun, earl of Hereford, to have seisin of that island,. as he lately appeared in the king's presence and sought that the king should restore the island to him as his right and inheritance, and the king thereupon caused Robert de la Vall, who likewise claimed right in the same island, to come before him at a certain day to show cause why the king should not restore the island to Humphrey, and Robert had or showed nothing for himself before the king and his council on the said day whereby any right in the island could be proved for him. ;
