Order to take surety (ponas per vad et salvos R. bishop of Coventry and Lichfield and Master Simon de Balhis official, that they shall be before the king in fifteen days from to show why, after the king had inhibited their holding any in Court Christian concerning the goods and chattels in the hands Nicholas de Lodeiawe, the king's merchant, because Nicholas complained they drew him ina plea in Court Christian, they afterwards presumed hold that plea in contempt of the king's orders and contrary to the aforesaid.
