Order to be at the ford in a month from Easter, to hear and correct trespasses, and interceptions, together with Roger de Clifford, William Bagod, de Hodenet, and the prior of St. Thomas without Stafford, whom the is sending thither, according to the form of the peace between the late and Llewelyn son of Griffin, prince of Wales, and his men, and according law and custom of those parts. The said prince will be there then, or some of his men there to hear and correct trespasses, etc., committed and his men in those parts. Tregoz and Hugh de Crepping acknowledge that they owe to of Oto 507. ; to be levied, in default of payment, of their lands and in cos. Essex and Norfolk. For this recegnisance, Hugh restored to his manor of Tolsaunt Tregoz, and acquitted him of his ransom (Godehuda) de Wykes puts in her place John Peche and de Rede against Walter de Merworth, and to receive her purparty lands that belonged to Roger de Wykes, her brother, in Wikjes], and of the lands that belonged to Roger de Clifford in that Walter de Kanc[ia] came into chancery, and acknowthat he had received from John le Despenser 200/., and 20/. for the queen Eleanor, the king's consort, for ransom of the manor of and he acquitted him thereof. de Fanecurt attorneyed Henry le Arblester in the matter in the court between Gerard and Henry de Brailesford of 100/., which exacts from Henry for ransom of the dower of Henry's mother in of the dictum of Kenilworth. , f John le Sauvage acknowledges that he owes to Robert Aguillon 10 marks ; to be levied, in default of payment, of his linds and chattels in cos. Derby and Sussex. Alan de Walcringham acknowledges that he owes to John de Luvetote 174 marks ; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. York.
