the sheriff of York. Order to cause the tenth of temporalities and granted to the king by the pope, and the arrears thereof, to be from those who detain it or from their benefices and goods, whenever shall be required to do so by Master Reymund de Noger[iis], the pope's the collector specially deputed for this, as some abbots, priors, men and clerks have detained the tenth for two years, and refuse to the arrears, wherefore the executors deputed by the pope to collect it in diocese of York have excommunicated them. like to all the sheriffs of England, making mention of other dioceses.
