To the abbot and convent of Kelsho. The king remembers that he lately requested the prior and convent of Norwich by his letters to place Brother Peter, a fellow-monk of the house of Kelsho, among them during the war in Scotland, and he afterwards ordered the prior and convent to permit Peter to return to the house of Kelsho at his pleasure to dwell among the brethren there according to the rule of the order: as he understands that the abbot and convent fear to admit him into their house without the king's licence, he signifies to them that he has granted to Peter licence to return to them as above. Robert Benedicite of Norwich acknowledges that he owes to William de Ayremynne, clerk, 30s.; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. Norfolk.
