Order not to intermeddle further with a shop built by Walter de Bibiri, deceased, and Cicely, his wife, upon a plot of land in Conyngestrete, in the city of York, and to . 3 the issues thereof, as the king learns by inquisition taken by the that the plot is the free tenement of Cicely as that which she and acquired to them and their heirs from Thomas de Barneby, and that said Thomas and his ancestors held the plot as their free tenement from out of mind, and that the plot was never a lane or common passage and that a dyer used to dwell there at one time, and that he had houses near the water of Ouse in order to exercise his office more conand that he had a gate in the street of Conyngestrete whereby he and left his houses aforesaid, and that he permitted his neighbours friends to go to the water of Ouse by his said gate and houses of his and free will, and that the plot is held of the king as a free of the aforesaid city by the service of 2d. yearly for house-gavel and that the shop now built thereon is worth 5s. yearly, the having taken the shop into the king's hands by reason of the passage aforesaid.
