Order to deliver by indenture ships, according to the advice and ordaining of William de Clynton, of Dover [castle] and warden of the Cinque Ports, and of John de to certain persons te do therewith what shall be ordained by the and his council, because the king has learned that certain ships of his taken by his lieges upon the sea and taken by them to the port of said town are detained there by the mayor and bailiffs against the of those who took them. Thomas de Ryse of Beverley puts in his place Thomas de Cotyngham younger, to prosecute the execution of a recognisance for 40/. made to in chancery by Robert le Conestable of Flaynburgh.
