To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Order to cause the prior and convent of Kermerdyn to have the terms which the king has granted to them for the payment of 800/. which are exacted of them for the arrears of of the prior for the time when he was chamberlain of South and also for the arrears of other debts, as the king granted that the and convent should pay 40/. yearly until the debt was discharged, and the treasurer and barons, by writ of privy seal, to cause them to that attermination ; and now the king has been besought by the prior to cause the remaining 760/. which are still owing of the said to be atterminated at a less sum, as all their temporalities and are extended at 60/. 11s. 3d. yearly, as fully appears by divers sent into chancery by the king's order, wherefore they are not to pay the said 40/. yearly according to the said attermination, to themselves and their necessary serjeants and ministers maintefrom the goods of the priory.
