Order to cause one war to be provided from tbat port with sufficient munition of armed to be ready to set out on the king's service at his wages against who have invaded the kingdom, on Wednesday in Easter as the mayor and bailiffs have informed the king that several of aud mariners of the said town are now in the northern parts victuals and other things for the sustaining of the king's lieges for which reason they cannot at present send two ships, well with men, to those parts, as they had been previously ordered king [as aé p. 22 above. ] By K. and C.
