Order to direct the collectors of wool and the triennial tenth granted by the clergy in that diocese, to supersede the exaction made on the abbot of Oseneye and the other clergy of the diocese for paying the last tenth granted by the clergy, and the triennial tenth of the second year at the anticipated terms, as he was not present at the parliament where these were granted, and he is ready to pay the tenth granted by the clergy of the province of Canterbury at the church of St. Bride, London, on the morrow of St. Jerome last, at the appointed terms, as the king has compassion on the estate of the abbey, which is so depressed that the abbot and convent and serjeants of the abbey hardly have wherewith to live.
