To the taxers and collectors in co. Devon of the triennial tenth and fifteenth granted by the community of the realm. Order not to molest true tinners in the stannary there for their quotas while they are working, though the king does not wish those who feign themselves to be tinners to be discharged, as the king granted the tinners in that county freedom from all taxes and contributions while they were working in the stannary there, and now they have informed him that although they have hitherto been quit by reason of that grant, yet the collectors exact the tenth and fifteenth of them by reason of their commission, wherefore they desist from their work in the stannaries.
