Kent, if he received that sum them, as it has been shown to the king by Simon and his fellows, although they paid 6/. which they received for wool to Ralph and fellows, chief collectors in that county, yet the sheriff, whom the king with others to receive the wool, exacts 6/7. of them, whereupon have besought the king to provide a remedy. By C. the sheriff of Kent. Order, if Ralph refuses to pay that sum, and finds by Ralph's acknowledgment or otherwise that he received the from Simon and his fellows, then to cause the sum to be levied from by distraints and otherwise, releasing Simon and his fellows from By C.
