To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Order to deliver Robert clerk, to Nicholas de la Beche, constable of the Tower of London, be imprisoned there until further orders, as he was lately deputed render the account of John de Alveton, sheriff of Oxford and Berks, make a tally of the exchequer to be falsely renewed in the sheriff's dl. KK 30. 10. name of 17/7. 10s. of the issues of the county to Master Paul de Monte Florum, wherefore he was adjudged by the treasurer and barons to imprisonment in the Flete prison, and now the king has learned that Robert is not guarded so strictly as should be in that prison.
